Our client, a leader in their field, are looking for an experienced and determined Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join their team in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs. This role will see you getting in amongst the action, ready to tackle anything that comes your way.
The main responsibilities of this role includes:
- Providing functional leadership and management of all warehouse and logistics functions
- Upholding a commitment to the companies WHS standards
- Establishing budgets and cost effective and reducing strategies
- Managing and liaising with logistics providers including 3PL and outsourced providers
- Developing strong rapport and professional relationships with the team
- Coaching and supporting staff through completion of tasks
- Maintaining and improving the companies DIFOT goals
- Utilising SAP for accurate transport, planning and other responsibilities
- Managing inventory and upholding high levels of quality control
To be successful in this role you will have a high attention to detail, proactive in managing and supporting a well-established, diverse and strong team, have proven experience in staff management, be a clear and concise communicator with a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure. Experience with SAP and strong computer skills are also very important.
