Our Client: A market leading family owned business requires a Technical Sales Representative, responsible for serving clients in and around ACT. They specialize in hardware solutions and are dedicated to providing exceptional service to their valued customers. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and self-sufficient Technical Sales Representative to join the team. Based in Canberra, you will be responsible for servicing clients in ACT, Ulladulla, and Eden. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in hardware and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal stakeholders and clients. This role requires autonomy, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the designated territories
- Identify sales opportunities and provide technical solutions to meet client needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical sales, essential in the hardware industry
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware products and solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territories
