The company is offering the hybrid working situation, working 2 days at home and 3 in the office they are flexible with the hours that are worked as long as it’s full time.
Joining a positive team of 12 in the IT department, duties include but are not limited to:-
- Design, development and maintain software systems in accordance with the quality system
- Design, develop and maintain Linux based distributions used in supplied devices
- Analysis of customer requirements
- Post-implementation support
- Support during pre sales in creating system design and estimating time/effort
The right candidate will have:-
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of Linux and Operating System concepts
- Basic knowledge of electronic hardware concepts
- Shell scripting
- Strong TCP/IP network programming skills
- Multi-threading experience
- Good trouble shooting skills
- The ability to communicate, particularly sound written ability
- Qualifications in B.S in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or similar
