Principal Consultant

Our client is a Managed Service Provider that has been in the market for the last 20 years with over 60 staff globally looking to expand their team in the North Sydney region with the inclusion of a Principal Consultant who will be responsible for obtaining new clients,  maintaining client relationships and managing projects while reporting to the CEO.

The Principal Consultant will collaborate and motivate customers’ technology executives and engineering teams, act as the central point of contact for all parties to orchestrate the delivery of desired engagement outcomes and deliverables. You will have the ability to manage customer expectations, understand people, process and technology challenges to recommend holistic solutions, establish long term partnership by delivering complex advisory engagements effectively, on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and drive improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Cultivate business development opportunities and participate in pre-sales activities to help secure new work.
  • Continue maintaining relationships with customer contacts in collaboration with sales, during and beyond project delivery.
  • Lead client conversations, decisions, manage customer expectations, around architecture design and strategy whilst engaging as a SME.
  • Run collaborative workshops and cloud adoption activities with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 8 years experience in the technology industry, managing projects and leading product / service delivery teams through a full lifecycle.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure
  • Demonstrated experience working in an MSP with multiple clients.
