Due to an Internal Promotion, this very successful business located in Norwest Business Park are looking for a bright and dynamic Management Accountant who has previously a min of 5 years experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will either have their CA or CPA Qualifications, or be at the end of their studies.
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager the role includes but is not limited to:-
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Preparation of bank submissions
- Review and access the purchase and disposdal of capital items and financing options
- Preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss and cashflow forecasts
- Working with the finance team to develop and continuously improve Finance policies and procedures, programs to drive or assist with achieving business objectives
- Partnering with the construction teams to deliver financial analysis on projects, including actual vs budget and production and performance reporting
- Contracts/Tender reports and claims/PSA reports
- Initiation of bank guarantees, insurance cover and preparation of progress claims
The right person will fit the company culture well, be an engaging and clear communicator, a natural people person as well as having a strong business acumen and a very good understanding of accounting and financial reporting. You will be diligent and adaptive, possessing a positive and proactive attitude. Whilst the role is based in Norwest, there may be a requirement to work out on project sites on occasion.
