HR Business Partner

This growing, dynamic distribution company located in the Bankstown area is looking for an HR Business Partner to join them

You will have the opportunity to really take ownership of this role, ensuring that the culture is a good one whilst working on behalf of the company and taking care of the best interest of the employees.

This is a pivotal role – reporting directly into the Senior Management, this person will be solely responsible for the Recruitment and HR functions within the business.

The duries of the role are including but not limited to:-

  • Recruitment and selection
  • Encompassing the full recruitment process
  • Dealing with employee requests
  • Awards
  • Apprenticeships processes
  • Job ads, screening and reference checking
  • Creating a culture of inclusion and happiness in the workplace
  • WHS functions
  • Contract generation
  • Listening to and assisting with any employee grievances
  • Preparation of letters of offer and other documentation
  • Development of HR policies, procedures and strategies
  • Ad hoc duties

The right person will have:-

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in HR
  • Tertiary qualification in HR and/or related area
  • Knowledge of the employment legislation
  • A passion for HR and a strong understanding that our people are our most important assest
  • An enthusistic and can do attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • A high level of attention to detail
