Customer Service Team Leader

This successful Australian family-owned company has been in operation for the past 20 years are involved in selling residential & commercial products such as steel framing, fibre cement, insulation and more. 

Due to a retirement, they require a Team Leader to oversee the team of 3 in their busy Customer Service environment. This is a hands on role that works closely with all departments of the business including the field sales team and warehouse operations.

This role leads the team and industry experience is required so 2 of the preferred skills below become essential, they are:

  • Process quotes and customer orders as required.
  • Phone & email enquiries.
  • Provide support to the customer service and sales team
  • Build & maintain professional relationships with customers
  • Work closely with our network of suppliers
  • Raising purchase orders
  • General administrative tasks

The right person will have:-

  • Industry experience with understanding / knowledge of residential & commercial building products
  • Previous experience leading a small team
  • Knowledge of plasterboard/and/or building products
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication skills and a good multitasker
  • The ability to troubleshoot
