We have a great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join this successful, growing company in the heavy machinery industry.

The role will see you responsible for the sales and development of their heavy machinery to new and existing business, it includes but is not limited to:-

  • Identifying new and existing business 
  • Building strong relationships 
  • Ensuring all sales administration, systems & processes are kept in order and up to date
  • Manage the day to day sales activities and account management
  • Provide accurate on time reporting on forecasts and sales activity
  • Assist with the development and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Manage the day to day sales activity
  • Promote and generate leads and sales conversions for new machines, used machines, service contracts and spare parts
  • Network with customers and forecast needs
  • Attend industry events, openings and social events as required

The successful candidate will:-

  • Previous experience in B2B sales
  • Be an effective communicator and strong relationship builder
  • Have the ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Be an organised person and have exceptional follow through
  • Be proficient IT hardware and software, including Microsoft proficient
  • Have a strong eye for detail
  • Be goal orientated and outcome focussed
  • Have a drivers license
  • Have previous experience working with the sale of heavy machinery
