Our client is an industry leader that manufactures goods used in a wide variety of industries. Your New Role

As a Territory Manager, your duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Establish relationships with new customers and maintain contact with existing customers 
  • Visit customers as required to establish and maintain relations as well as understand their needs
  • Actively seek out new opportunities and close deals 
  • Hands on management of the sale 
  • Deliver on key performance indicators and targets
  • provide weekly updates on current prospects, lost sales and market information 
  • Develop and implement sales techniques
  • Report sales activities against key performance indicators to branch manager which include gross margin, customer performance and growth in pipeline 

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Sales and/ or marketing and supply chain experience 
  • Experience in managing customer relationships 
  • Experience in developing relationships at multiple levels of an organisation 
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce 
  • Experience in negotiating prices and contracts 
  • Strategic marketing experience 
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales methodologies provided through online and face to face sales training
