Service Manager NZ

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Manager, who knows Hydraulics to work for this company leader in their new office

Due to the current Service Manager moving back to Australia after getting this office up and running, there is a new opportunity for a new Service Manager to take on this position. 

This office located in Auckland currently has approximately 20 employees working there and around 11 of them report directly into this role. The position itself includes but is not limited to:-

  • management of Technicians, Warehouse, Workshop and Purchasing
  • knowledge of hydraulics
  • driving strategies through service sales
  • visit customers 
  • responsible for the turnover targets
  • ensure the profit and sustainable service growth is there
  • calibration, testing and tagging certificates
  • developing new strategies, plan for growth, resource and personnel planning
  • overseeing site inductions, arranging of medicals, parts ordering

The right person will have:-

  • excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • SAP knowledge would be desirable but is not essential
  • strong time management skills
  • minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role
  • a broad knowledge of Mechanical Engineering
  • a dynamic and motivated persona
  • ability to make contacts and build networks
  • the ability to make contacts and build up networks
