Quality Assurance Officer

Our client located in the regional Hornsby area is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer with experience in the below 

Your duties will include but not limited to:-

·         The development of product specifications

·         Managing the packaging received through sampling, testing and release of incoming packaging items

·         Supporting the Regulatory and Marketing Teams on label development and maintenance of label data base

·         Overseeing the Artwork changes after final sign off product specifications with suppliers.

·         Working with the Production Manager & team members on the production line, always ensuring compliance to APVMA GMP Quality Systems and standards.

·         Coordinating regular feedback meetings, working with others to implement QA framework where necessary.

·         Testing and managing the consumer complaints in conjunction with Customer Service and QC team.

·         Managing the Non-Conformances in conjunction with Departmental Managers for sterile and non-sterile manufactured products

·         Ensure corrective action reporting and closing out of all NCR’s

·         Undertaking regular walk throughs of manufacturing plant to be proactive, set QA behaviour expectations amongst team members.

·         Establishing and monitoring strong quality governance and controls 

·         Completing internal audits and risk assessments

·         Supporting the QA Manager in regular customer and regulatory external audit requirements.

·         Facilitating staff training and toolbox talks where applicable

The right candidate will have:-

·         A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the application of quality systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·         The ability of identifying appropriate controls within production line

·         Knowledge of GMP principles in a sterile manufacturing environment.

·         Very strong problem-solving, organisational, and planning skills.

·         Intermediate computer skills

·         The ability to work well under deadlines
