External Sales Representative

We are looking for an experienced Sales person who has a background in Industrial sales to work the Western Sydney region for this very successful, growing company. 

The role includes:-

  • Growing your reputation and value through building effective and long-term relationships.
  • Identifying potential clients and the decision-makers within the client’s organization, convert into new business.
  • Plan sales approaches and strategies with your team to ensure we maximise opportunities throughout the wider NSW market.
  • Work with the internal team to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing decisions, solutions, and offerings.
  • Where possible or suitable, work with their distributors to ensure they have tools and support needed for their customer base.
  • Negotiate on behalf of the company, working through differences to achieve a positive outcome.
  • Client retention as well as re-activation and opening new accounts are priorities and a primary measure of success.

The right candidate will have:-

  • Resilience and confidence
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial customer facing sales role.
  • A hunger for growth and new business.
  • Passion to develop existing business and in some cases, reclaim lost business
  • The ability to address a room full of engineers.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and to work with your team for the best outcome.
  • Knowledge of the wider NSW industrial market
  • Sound planning skills around targets and priorities.
